Corporate Social Investment CSI

Empowering communities through sustainable social-economic development

Corporate Social Investment Pillars

At Spotpay, we believe in creating shared value by investing in people and communities. Our Corporate Social Investment is guided by three strategic pillars that drive meaningful impact and contribute to a more inclusive, empowered and active society.

Women Empowerment

We empower women to thrive as entrepreneurs, leaders and change-makers. Through skills development, access to resources and economic opportunities, we support women to build sustainable businesses and stronger communities.

Children

We invest in the future by creating opportunities for children to learn, grow and reach their full potential. Our initiatives focus on education support, child well-being and safe spaces that nurture brighter tomorrows.

Sport Development

We believe sport has the power to transform lives. By investing in grassroots programmes, coaching and facilities, we develop talent, promote healthy lifestyles and build discipline, teamwork and resilience in our communities.

Spotpay Imbokodo Premier League: A community day built around women, sport and connection

More than a sporting competition.

Imbokodo Premier League CSI Initiative

On 1 August 2026, as part of its Corporate Social Investment (CSI) strategy, Spotpay proudly sponsored the Imbokodo Premier League (IPL), a women-focused netball initiative that brings together 10 teams to compete for the coveted Spotpay IPL Trophy, alongside a range of other exciting prizes.

The event was more than just a sporting competition—it was a celebration of women, community, sport and family. Players, supporters and families enjoyed a fun-filled day, with Spotpay adding to the excitement through branded novelties and giveaways that helped create memorable experiences for everyone in attendance.

Spotpay Managing Director, Mpiwase Mabandla, also took part in an engaging interview with seasoned sportscaster, actor and brand influencer Hope Mbele. The conversation highlighted Spotpay’s brand, its commitment to community development and some of the exciting CSI initiatives the organisation has planned for the future.

Ultimately, the IPL sponsorship embodied the spirit of the Spotpay brand—energetic, community-focused, empowering and committed to creating meaningful experiences. It was a day filled with sport, fun and festivities, while reinforcing Spotpay’s commitment to making a positive impact in the communities it serves.
